All three products — FaraSYS, FaraEDA, FaraSW — are free for design partners during early access. What follows is the pricing we plan to charge at launch, published now so nobody gets surprised later. We charge for the value of the tool — seats and capability — never for the compute it burns.
Compute is our cost of goods, not your pricing axis. We're not an AI middleman reselling you tokens at a markup, and we won't put a meter on your thinking. You buy seats and capability; we manage the engine cost inside the price — and we take the risk of getting that math right, not you.
An accessible general seat, plus a compliance tier that captures the certification value. Every tier — including Free — ships all the truth: every gate, the full verification ladder, honest coverage ceilings, and receipts. We don't paywall the bad news.
The seat is the unit, and the per-seat rate declines by volume band. Inside a band, adding a teammate is cheap. Crossing into the next band lowers the rate for everyone — we don't want to tax collaboration, we want to reward it.
Example: 3 engineers on FaraEDA = $297/mo, all-in. No compute bill on top.
The unit is a generation job: one bounded engine operation that produces one artifact — one decompose of a requirement, one test scaffold, one authored requirement, one bounded seam pass. Not a token. Not an "ACU." A named piece of work with a result you can point at.
Every tier includes a generous monthly job allowance, sized so the typical user never touches overage. Inside your allowance there is no meter, no counter, no anxiety. The allowance is pooled across your team's seats — engineers burst at different times, and a shared bucket is fairer.
Beyond the allowance, overage is off by default. You opt in, you set a hard ceiling. We warn at 80% and stop at your cap. No surprise invoice, ever.
If you ever do go over, you see exactly what you're paying for: "3 decompose jobs over your 100 — each $2 — here is what each one produced." Named jobs, itemized, with the artifact attached. You will never get a bill for a mystery credit balance you can't reconstruct.
Most of these exist because we watched other AI tools break them. We're writing them down before we charge anyone a dollar.
We will never quietly redefine what a job is to claw back value. The dollar meaning of a job is a permanent promise.
Engineering is bursty. Heavy two days a week is fine if your month is within allowance. Sub-monthly quotas punish normal work.
You opt in and set the ceiling. We warn at 80%, stop at your cap. Silence is never consent to a bigger bill.
Free users see the same gates, ceilings, and receipts paying customers do. We never paywall the bad news about your design.
Partners who help us build this get their rate grandfathered for 24 months after launch. Named, marketed, kept.
Every future price change posts here before it takes effect. Existing customers are forward-only for their locked window.
When compute costs fall, you get larger allowances or lower overage — not a redefined job.
Free-forever-for-individuals survives launch. It isn't a trial with a fuse on it.
We bundle and validate the engine rather than letting you plug in a key. That isn't lock-in for its own sake: it's how we can stand behind what the engine produces. The engine runs only on models we've validated — Opus 4.8 today, broadened as each candidate passes — and the validation record for every approved model is an auditable artifact. A tool that generates evidence can't run on an engine nobody vetted.
Entry seat rates (2–5 band) below — the two engineering seats at parity, with FaraSYS a step above as the org-wide hub the others trace to. Higher bands and compliance-tier prices publish before launch.
The org-scoped system of record. The hub the other two trace to.
Requirements → synthesis → evidence for boards.
Traced firmware with DO-178C evidence and measured coverage.
All three legs on one program: one allowance pool, one receipted ledger, and a board and its firmware tracing to the same system requirements. That cross-discipline trace is buyable from exactly one place. Example: 8 seats across the family ≈ $1,770/mo — roughly $2,280/seat/year, all-in, with no compute bill on top.
